Nice to meet you, I’m Key🌞

As a little girl, I envisioned myself being an entrepreneur. I loved to write, influence, & manage but didn’t know what field would be best for me. As time passed, I continued to develop my passions but still didn’t fully make a career out of them.

Unfortunately, grief threw me off track for years. Upon my 18th birthday, I felt that my entrepreneurial vision was nothing but a dream. I had to realize that I laid out the path for my career since I was a child. I started Key’s Journey at 15 (during the 2020 quarantine) when I decided to become a style influencer.

Between the ups & downs in life, I left my page alone for years. I decided that I didn’t put all that work as a child into that account for nothing, so after I flunked out of Defiance College in May 2024, I turned my old influencing page into my business page. I wanted to do social media management at first, but then I introduced myself to project management!

I’m now the CEO of Key’s Journey, where I help black-owned rap & beauty brands focus on their mental health & elevate the quality of their services/products. My specialty is digital marketing analyses to help provide a structured strategy to improve the maturity, security, & stability of the brand. I also supply a social media management service to create brand consistency across multiple social channels & manage the content that goes out.

The journey to become a CEO was far from easy. Trust me, I have come a long way. What guided me through my storms were my values. I chose to let my faith outweigh my fear by sticking to the fruit of the Spirit. Eventually, my life began to reflect those same principles. It’s my honor to teach my community how to mirror the love that the Universe has shown me throughout this path.

Key’s Values.

Of course, I value the fruit of the Spirit, but my main brand value is forgiveness. Forgiveness is an overlooked concept because it seems we are accepting defeat. In reality, the opposite is true because it can open up new doors & account for others’ mistakes. Luke 7:47 (NLT version) writes, “I tell you, her sins – & they are many – have been forgiven, so she has shown me much love. But a person who is forgiven little shows only little love.” Forgiveness frees us from feeling bitter & angry so we can love again. There’s no such thing as relationships without forgiveness. Every human makes mistakes, so give others the same mercy & grace you would want!

Key’s Masterpiece.

My mission is to inspire my community with my courage to break the cycle of grief & excel in our careers. I grant my partners more free time while I take care of the creative, time-consuming, behind-the-scenes marketing projects.

My vision is to create a safe space for my community to feel cared for. A lack of experience & resources can turn running a brand into an unnecessary struggle. I want to save others the hurt of running a business alone because we’re in this together.
